The King's Road

A few weeks ago I decided that I really wanted to photograph the Dark Hedges. Unfortunately, however, due to the hordes of cars and people in the evenings I quickly directed my focus towards sunrise...

(Who knew this location would still be so popular in the months of autumn??)

Fortunately for me, it only took one visit to come home with a shot that I'm pretty pleased with. With that being said, I'll definitely be returning here to capture the quintessential misty morning shot but for now I'm happy to settle for the one I have.

On the same morning I got chatting to a lovely Canadian tourist who was visiting Scotland, N. Ireland and Iceland over the course of a few weeks (I know, what a holiday!). We chatted for a good bit about photography, holidays and beautiful locations before we parted ways. Be sure to check out his Instagram feed!
