Two Favourites

I know you shouldn't have favourites, but it's hard not to when there are places like Dunluce Castle and The Giant's Causeway along the north Antrim coast. I had originally only planned to take a few moody shots of Dunluce when the skies were grey, but one evening I just couldn't stay away and ended up making a return trip at sunset.

The Giant's Causeway, on the other hand, was completely intentional. I hadn't yet had the privilege of photographing this spectacular attraction at sunset, so I made my way down one evening hoping for something special. There are so many vantage points that it can be hard to settle on your favourite composition here. In the end, I tired a few so I can hopefully find my go-to spots when the light is just right (although I think I've already found my favourite).

To finish I have some exciting news. Not only did I get to take some amazing photos but I went to the effort of having one printed and I'm really pleased with the result. I imagine the walls will have a lot more landscapes on them in the not so distant future..

The next post will be the finale of my holiday to the north coast.
