A Little bit of Cheating

Saturday was a classic Northern Ireland day in spring - ambitious, but rubbish. The morning and afternoon saw high temperatures and glorious blue skies, but come evening it went grey and miserable. So with the weather looking promising for the afternoon I decided to go for a drive with my camera and ended up in a number of locations.

First stop was Greencastle, which is a well preserved rectangular keep in Kilkeel (although I think my recent visit to Castle Roche has spoiled all other castles for me). After taking a few photos I was then on my way to Annalong Cornmill and Dundrum Castle. Both were great to see and it's an enjoyable route for a drive, even if you don't fancy taking photos. Speaking of photos...

It's time to cheat a little bit and complete this post with two photos that were taken on another evening when the weather was a bit better but never made it into a blog post. They were taken at the car park across from the entrance to Murlough beach and at Rathfriland. The boat is actually perched outside someone's house and I just happened to drive past it because of a diversion on the way home from Newcastle. I think it's safe to say that this person wins a garden furniture.
