The Gold Rush

Cloud, cloud and more cloud. I've been craving a good sunset for a while now but time and time again the weather hasn't played nice. This weekend I decided to change tactic and go for sunrise.

With my location picked and gear packed I headed out this morning for Warrenpoint Keep to see if I could come home with something other than a grey sky. I've actually been here before but I wanted come back to do it justice by photographing it at the golden hour.

After leaving my house I was extremely doubtful that I'd get anything - there was fog everywhere! But as I drove along Warrenpoint Road to reach the Keep my endeavors were quickly rewarded, as in the distance I could see the cloud and fog parting ways. All that was left for me to do was set up my gear and wait for the sun to show its face; and lucky for me, I struck gold.
