A Final Touch of Colour

So with the overwhelming amount of wind and rain we've been experiencing the past couple of weeks I thought I'd share my final series of autumnal photos.

The first lot of photos were taken at Lurgan Park. I've been to this location countless times in my life, but never with a camera. My plan was to get a photo of the gorgeous stretch of trees that runs throughout the park. Unfortunately, they weren't as full of foliage as I'd hoped for, but they still made for an awesome shot - maybe next year I'll catch them sooner.

The final pictures are from Castlewellan Forest Park. This is a spot I've never had the chance to walk all the way round before, and in fact still haven't as it is such a huge park. I made a good stab at it, however, and discovered a spectacular lookout atop Slievenaslat. Here I got to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Mournes and speak to a lovely couple who were spending the day with their gorgeous Labrador, Bella. She was incredibly playful and I couldn't help but snap a picture of the three of them taking in the view.

It's outings like these that make me love photography, and I can't wait for my next adventure.
